Meeting Notes 2014-12-1

Club members set up a high-speed photography rig during a meeting.

Our last meeting was a free-for-all, with members breaking up into different groups to discuss techniques and equipment. Ron Tigges brought his Camera Axe setup for high-speed photography. After getting the settings just right, they captured a balloon popping balloon with the sound trigger.

Following that, our Holiday Party will be on December 15th. This is a potluck party, so bring an appetizer, snack or dessert to share. Beverages and table service will be provided by the club.

Meeting Notes – 2014-10-06

Last Monday marked our third meeting of the year. We’re up to 32 paid members currently, with more new faces showing up every meeting!

We went over new submissions for October and the results from the September N4C Competition. Our club had seven winning images in the September competition.

We also went over winners from the yearly N4C competition. All winning entries throughout the 2013-2014 season were eligible for competition in a final end-of-the-year judging. Last season we had two winning images, both by Ron Tigges.
