The Dubuque Camera Club is off and rolling for another season!
We opened our meeting with a review of the N4C competition that the club participates in. Each month, members from the club each submit up to six images for different categories of competition. These images are then judged against entries from the approximately 40 other clubs that make up the North Central Camera Club Council, or N4C.
New this year, the Black & White category is open for submissions every month. Previously this category was only open for three months out of the season.
See the official N4C page for more information on the competition.
After reviewing the competition format and rules, we reviewed our club’s submissions for the month, and each member was given a chance to briefly describe their technique and interesting things about their photos.
The meeting wrapped up with discussion of some ideas for future meetings and weekend events. There are some exciting things in store. If you’d like to get involved, you can call Ron Tigges at 563-583-7128, join our group on Facebook, or come to one of our upcoming events.
